Project Manager/Engineer
Based in Lake Lanier Area (Oakwood/Buford) and Nacogdoches Texas

This position will require:

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 Years Engineering Experience
  • Strong Autocad skills and knowledge of blueprint reading
  • Experience in managing and reporting on multiple projects and all details, tasks, completion dates
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
  • Experience in iron and steel cast and forged products helpful
  • Ability to utilize a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong written and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards relating to the metals industry

Quality Assurance Engineer

CAB Incorporated, a rapidly growing importer, distributor and manufacturer of steel pipe flanges, wind tower components and industrial castings is seeking a high caliber hands-on manager of U.S. Quality Assurance based at our plant in Nacogdoches, Texas. This position will report to CAB's Worldwide Quality Assurance Manager and will coordinate with other members of management team.

This position will require:

  • BS Degree in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, statistics, sampling, gauge design, gauging methods, and process control.
  • Solid understanding of NDT such as MT, RT, UT, etc.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in manufacturing of steel products.
  • Ability to utilize a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Autocad)
  • Ability to organize and manage projects, shipping schedules, inspection schedules and communicate project activities with U.S. office
  • Strong written and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards relating to the metals industry
  • Analyze opportunities, provide root cause analysis, and develop and implement solutions for existing products and processes through collaboration with other engineering, technical, and sales groups.

You will help establish, refine, implement and train in quality control systems for inbound imported product inspections, “in process” manufacturing operations inspections, and inspections prior to shipment.

Quality Assurance Manager
India (Delhi)

This position will require:

  • Ability to organize and manage projects, shipping schedules, inspection schedules and communicate project activities with U.S. office
  • Strong written and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards relating to the metals industry
  • Analyze opportunities, provide root cause analysis, and develop and implement solutions for existing products and processes through collaboration with other engineering, technical, and sales groups.

The ideal candidate will be able to audit quality systems at supplier factories in India, assist in root cause analysis, perform dimensional inspections on a variety of products, and write detailed quality documents and reports.

This candidate will also be involved in locating new foundry and forging mill sources and performing capability analysis.
